Bed, Bath & Broke: The Nail Polish Edition
Whenever I’m about to do a Streisandicure I peruse Community Nail Polish Gallery for inspiration. If you’re a polish junkie, this is the site for you. While it’s hard to find good snaps of people from diverse racial backgrounds, there are lot and lots of pictures of folks wearing shades from every brand imaginable. One such brand is Color Club and thanks to my ream of 20% off coupons for Bed, Bath & Beyond I decided to pick up a few shades (after first decluttering nearly 50% of my aging polish cache).
I’ve never used Color Club before; mostly sticking to Essie, OPI and – if I’m desperate and it’s on 75% clearance – possibly ORLY. Color Club is fabulous and on par with Loreal or Revlon in terms of quality, application and more importantly – PRICE. That stuff is hella cheap (made even cheaper with those damn coupons).
Killer Curves is so sexy, deep burgundy creme. I’m not a nail blogger so I have no idea how many other dupes I already own. I just know I really LOVE this shade.
Snow Queen is another vampy creme devoid of any bedazzling, which is just the way I like it.
What a Drag I go bonks for silver nail polish. This one is the first one I’ve found that doesn’t show brush strokes.
Naughtycal Navy the first navy polish that’s a creme and completely with out sparkles, bling or glitter. It’s just a straight up dark navy blue polish. So freaking gorgeous. I’m wearing it right now and I can’t stop staring at my nails.
I also snagged Essie’s Little Brown Dress. It reminds me of Very Vamp and some Revlon polish I used to wear a while back.
